Welcome to Oatfield House, on the Mull of Kintyre - comfortable, relaxed, fully en-suite Bed and Breakfast accommodation offering warm, friendly personal attention in an historic Country House setting.

The house itself, although fully modernised and including free WiFi throughout, retains a wealth of unspoilt original features from its Georgian and Victorian past and offers a unique, traditional Scottish, period feel including log fires, wood panelling and a fine open galleried hallway.

Grade 2 listed by Historic Scotland, Oatfield is both our family home and a welcoming bed and breakfast - rated four stars by the Scottish Tourist Board and awarded a special Authors Recommendation by the Rough Guide to Scotland.

Situated in open countryside and enjoying views of Islay and Jura, it is on the very border between fertile farming land and the wilds that lead, uninterrupted, from here to the end of the Mull.

Set in its own small estate less than five minutes drive from Campbeltown harbour and well away from the main road along a private drive, Oatfield House was built in 1780 for the Laird of the Achachoirk and Garvachy Estate. Completed by local sea captain, Colin McEachran (who had the good fortune to capture a French prize ship during the Napoleonic Wars), it was later substantially extended in the 1890's.

Please do come and visit us - we look forward to meeting you.
